Something to think about. My Pastor the other day was talking about life and how we only see one thing at a time, but God can see all of it from start to end. He gave a great way to look at it. He said that it is kind of like a parade…….When you go to a parade you want to be right up in the front so you can see all that is going on. The only thing is that you can only see what is going on right then and there. In the end it would be much better to be up higher so you would be able to see all that is going on at the same time. This is kind of like us and God. We are going through life and we only see one thing at a time and start to worry or ask what is going to happen. God on the other hand is watching from up top and he has it all in his hands. He can see where it started, to where we are right now. But the best part is that he can see what is coming next and the end. I just thought this was a pretty cool way to look at it life.

Just an encouraging word….
September 2, 2008The other day I was thinking about life and wondering about a lot…and God led me to the book of Philippians. I started reading in Phil. 1:6 and it has been a verse that I have read many times, but it really was an encouragement to me at the time. Hope it will be a blessing to you as well.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Phil. 1:6
