Victory we DO have in Christ…..
January 20, 2009I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Gal. 2:20
I heard one of the best messages of this verse last night. If Christians could just apply this TRUTH in their lives….what a life of victory they would live. The Christian life is hard….and we can not do it within ourself…..BUT with Christ in us and work through us we can have that victory in our lives. It is no longer us living, but Christ in us. This is when I love to put the verse in “Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” and then one that I can not leave out would be “2 Cor. 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon”. Amen! I wish you could have heard the sermon last night. I think it was the best yet…how to deal with temptation. It was so clear, so simple. Get the CD. I really needed to hear it. It’s helped me already! See you tonight!
