Hey Tiff, That’s good. That reminds me of a song by Casting Crowns called, “I Pour my love on you.” It talks about the love of Christ from a different perspective, talking about how grateful we are of His love. ttyl – Derek

Hi Tiffany!
I found your sight through Set Apart, and thought I would say Hi.
I agree with what your preacher said about suffering… it is hard not to miss what God has for us in hard times. A verse comes to mind in 1 Peter 1:5-7:
“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith–of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire–may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.”
That is a great comfort in hard times.
